EBC Greenstuff brake pads?

Just wondering what people thought of EBC Greenstuff pads? I did search but didn't find much. I'm looking for a street pad but won't fade much (if at all) if trackedor pushed hard, and also won't squeel like a race pad will. It looked like these were the best bet. Any opinions?

Thanks

i have run EBC green since 1999. great feel, the rotors look like a million bucks, no noise, no dust ( white fd) and they do stop... i run EBC reds on the track. i will probably never put another brand of pads on my car.

I just installed reds but only have about 30 miles on them. No squeaks and the pedal pressure required to stop seems less.

I have them with 929 master cyl ,ss lines and I drilled my rotors .They do not dust much and they do not wear the rotors down .I have not had brake fade but I am not racing on a track .I am on the second set . the third set will be green as well.

I have run both reds and greens on the street and loved them. Great initial bite. I am running yellows right now and no squeal, but more dust than the greens/reds.

For road racing, I will say this: I used up my reds, fast. They performed great with no fade, but after about three 30 min sessions of hard lapping and they were toast.

I also have the Greens on my white FD and they are great, with no large acumulation of dust. They are better than the Hawk's that I had before for sure.

There is no such thing. EBC Greens, Hawk HPS, or other "performance street" pads will NOT last at the track unless it's your first couple of times tracking the car. If you get fade on the street, you are simply driving way too fast for public roads IMO.

The best solution is to run track pads at the track and street pads on the street.

Google? Thanks this whole internet thing is kinda new in my town - I was more curious where RX-7 owners typically buy these brake pads, but I appreciate the sarcasm

The early Greens made back I the 90s were fantastic. After the ownership of the company changed; the Greens became just average.

Holy ****, thread bump of the century goes to RX7Fanatic04 back in March. 8 Years. That's impressive lol.

I ran Greens back in 06. I stepped up to Yellows on the last swap. I've been pretty happy with both, but while my car saw a lot of spirited drives on curvy roads, it never saw the track. I was thinking of going with EBC Blue next but I've heard EBCs aren't as impressive in recent years, and that the Blue pads make noise on a regular basis. I guess that's pretty standard from a track pad, but I believe the noise they make is unrelated to the surface of the pads and the rotors making contact lol.

Interesting.

I have a brand new set of EBC Greens sitting in one of the rear compartments of my FD...not even sure when they got there. Maybe one of the shops that worked on my FD bought them at some point? lol...

I have Hawk pads on atm, so I think I'll put on the Greens now when I have time, based on all these positive reviews.

I've seen at least a few different people mention that the EBCs shouldn't see the track because they'll fry, but if it's a street car, you'll be good with those I think. I don't remember dust being much of a problem, and they never made noise. Same goes for the Yellows.
