FC Tire Size Question

After much frustration, I have ordered some 17x9+30 MB Battles. I really like this style of wheel and it is not a common one in my area (but then again, I have the only rx7 fc or rx7 I have seen in town or in neighboring towns)...

Anyways, on to my question. What tire should I run on these without requiring any work in the back and not a whole lot of modification in the front?

I was thinking 255 / 40 Rear, 225 / 40 Front but not sure how much modification I would have to do up front or in the rear. I am on stock suspension. My plan is to take my car to a professional who can roll or pull the fronts so I don't mangle my fenders.

In addition, I am going for function and nothing else.

I'm not entirely sure why but I cannot edit my post. Anyways, I have searched all over the various fitment threads for an answer to my question but I cannot find an exact one because most of those are just about whether this or that is flush or hellaflush, etc when I don't really care. I just want my tires to fit without much fender modification.

235/40/17 all around will fit with a fender roll in front. Rear will
be fine. You may need a small spacer in front for the wheel/tire to clear the stock strut and spring.
