do you think my rims are bent a little??

do you think my rims are bent a little??

I wrecked my fd saturday and I ran over a median that was about 8-9 inchs tall with stock size tires and rim, do you guys think they are bent??? if they are bent im getn some nice after market wheels with that nice check they give me.. I dont want to make any big plans and find out there not bent at all..

I think it is highly likely that you bent some rims. Put them on a machine and check the runout if it isn't obvious.

You can try taking them to a tire shop and mount the wheels on the machine that balances tires. Im guessing that this will work. By looking at the way the wheel spinds you can tell it its bent.

one way you can tell if your wheels are bent is if you have severe vibration (from the steering wheel to the entire car). If you're wheels are bent then on the freeway, you will definitely feel your car vibrating after 80+mph

how fast were you going? you probably have more damage than just bent rims if you hopped a big median. i would take it to a shop that also does alignment.

well I cant drive the car right becuase one wheel is totaly fucked.. I got knock out a few sec but , running over the median woke me up a lil. 15-20 mph i would say

you can check them your self at home. jack up the wheel in question and turn it with a dial indicator touching it , check rro and lro , radial run out ,lateral run out ,
