Do NSX rims fit an fd

searched and founded mixed answers that were not that positive.

I did some searching of my own and i think the rears have a 59 offset. Wheels are 16"x7 front with 215-45ZR16 and 17"x8.5 with 245-40ZR 17 rear

You should ask this in the suspension/wheels/brakes section. The stock offset for an fd is +50 and the wheels size is 16*8 all around.

I did some quick calculations and found the following....you draw your own conclusions.

NSX (Rear w/+59 offset??) Rims Backspace: 166.95mm or 6.57"

Stock FD Rims Backspace: 151.6mm or 5.97"

So, i guess you won't hit the inside stock suspension on the rear, but i'm not sure if it will rub or now....btw this is just the calculations for the rears, the fronts are more complicated beacause you have to take into account the steering and stuff.

I'm a total suspension noob, so if i'm wrong please correct me...i'm trying to learn.

Go with NSX rears at all four corners and just add a spacer (1/2").

Worthless "upgrade" that would take using all NSX rears with spacers. All to gain 1/2" wider wheel. Why bother?
