Question about brakes

Ok guys, got a question for ya. I've been reading on this forum that the rx-7 stock braking system is better than average, but have also heard aout the rotors warping easily. Now I've been noticing on my FD that when I try to brake the car feels like it's "wiggling" slightly (very small amount of fishtailing it left and right) and will feel like it's grabbing strong and not grabbing strong when I'm breaking from a slow speed. I figure my rotors are warped, and was going to put in an order for a set of new ones, but wanted to get any input on whether or not you guys htink it might be something else. Any info would be great.

Thanks

You can feel warped rotors through the brake pedal as a pulsation. It makes it harder to brake hard as you can't apply even pressure on the pedal. You may have rear lockup problems, that could cause the rear to feel "wiggly".

You need to simply look at your brakes and see if there are any problems. It's unlikely the rears are providing more braking force than expected, so it's more likely your fronts aren't working as well as they should. Always a good idea to make sure you've got fresh brake fluid with no air bubbles, and your front pads aren't glazed. If that's not it, then make sure each front brake piston is working properly - if they are sticking, you'll need to rebuild or replace the front pistons.

try bleeding your brakes and replacing the pads if they are worn.

also have your car aligned as a bad alignment will also cause stuff like that.

Yes - it's called a caliper rebuild kit. But if you've never done that kind of work, it may make more sense to exchange your calipers (if they're bad) for rebuilt calipers.
