deciding wheels size for my FD

Sorry for a noob question. Read through most of the stickies but still can't decide between the 2 options i have below for my FD with stock fenders rolled and coilovers.
Option 1: 19x8.5, 19x9.5 offset +34 (Rays SF Challenge ) for the look!
Option 2: 17x8, 17x9 offset +20 (BBS LM F1) For performance. Since these bbs are Authentic, they can also be offset +35

Pls help me decide. How flush am i gonna be?
Any pics of these sizes setup would be greatly appreciated!

Neither of those sets will be very flush. 19's look stupid on FD's (Dcups old car is the only exception I can t think of). If it has to be between those I would go with the 17x8+20 and 17x9+20 BBS' and run 235f/255r tire setup. Or if possible with option 2 go 17x9+35 front and 17x9+20 rear with 255's all around.

I agree with DriftDreamzSS 19'' would look a bit ghetto. 17 or 18's would work and aim for a low offset. You may have to pull or roll the fenders, depending on how aggressive the wheels are.

Got it!
Then size and offset i should be looking for if i want them flushed with fenders, look good, and yet maintain good amount of handling?

See sig.

I ran 17x8 and 9 + 35 for a couple years. The reason I sold them is because I wanted to square up my wheels and rotate my tires. You might need a lil roll in the front if you want to go wider than 235/40 or so, but they looked alright.

I now have 17x 10, +50 all around and love em.

EDIT: Here's a couple pics of my car when it was on the 17x8 and 9, +35 Enkei RPF1s

Depends alot on your desired tire width and gip potential. That answer can vary alot if you want 225/245 tire setup vs 255/285's, ect. For an average 9j front / 10j rear with 255/265's I would say +30ish will give you pretty flush fitment without cutting it too close. Your best bet is to find someone with a setup you like and go for similar specs.

Use this thread for the "flush" options: https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-w...itment-895289/

I am pretty sure this is about as perfect a fitment as you can get for the wheels without losing tracktion from crazy camber.

I think the tires he used are a little too tall, I'd go down one aspect.

My ideal setup and what I would consider the max in size on a stock bodied FD. Any alterations will need to adjust offset at necessary. 18x10 +50 285/30-18 will work in the front but it's a little big for my taste. The rear is about as big as you can go. There is the option of a 315/30-18 in the back but that is with a very specific tire that is narrower than most 315's. The Azenis 615. Either way the wheels you listed are far from ideal especially the 19's. Unless you are after the Hella Flush super low look they are just a bad idea.

18x9 +40 255/35-18
18x10.5 +45 295/30-18

Hey cal-x.

I know everyone seems to hate 19s! But I bought 19" Rays volk GTS for my FD. It's a very similar wheel to the SF challenge. Size is 19x9.5 +28 and 19x10.5 +28. 225/35 and 265/30 tyres. Bit more flush than the setup you posted but I have rolled and flared the rear (and my car is not crazy low).

If it's rubbing you need to stiffen the suspension up!

Ok... so the 19s offset is too low, and i tried on the 17s nut didnt like the look.
Heres another option i got.
SSR SP1, 18x9 offset 37 (front) 18x10 offset 49 (rear)
Hows this set up?

Sry for all the questions. Im pretty new to the fd scene and dont wanna invest on the wrong wheels.
