d2 is like megan/k-sport status.

low budget mystery meat quality.

d2 is exactly ksport. which is coilovers on a budget for sure. Megan racing seems a step above, for the same price.

I dont think they're crap. Better than no coilovers, that's for sure. The dapening adjustment isn't as great as it could be but they are ok for the money.

I'd run pbm or BC coilovers over anything else in that price range. Even tein basics....

To the op, rx7club is full of haters with money to burn. I have jic coils myself but if i didn't pay a 1/4 of the price for them, i wouldn't have them. I would have waited and bought bc's or pbm's instead. Go on zilvia.net and do a search on d2 coilovers. I'm sure you'll get honest "I'VE USED THESE BEFORE" answers.

They are shiny, so they must work well. Ask Zilvia, which about 95% ricers.

They can't even use proper grammer (and English is the language of engineering) on their website. Doesn't this concern you at all?

um, no?
zilvia generally hates the **** out of megans/d2/ksports.

i remember years ago when d2's first came out they did a super early group buy on zilvia. ****, i almost bought a set. well, since they came out so early on zilvia, alot of the big problems also popped up early on zilvia. d2 sucks; i seriously doubt zilvia would tell you otherwise.

as for what they think now, there's two competing schools of thought for suspension on zilvia.
#1 the "who gives a **** as long as it drifts" group - expensive japanese **** owns
#2 the "we care about damping" group - revalved bilsteins/konis/etc + gc coilovers + eibach springs > your shitty japanese crap

Don't be a cheapass. The Rx7 is a world class sportscar that does not deserve junk...

I would rather put megan racing coils on rather than ground control bullshit. I ran gc coilovers on my gtx and it just isnt the greatest idea the set screws are always backing off and that makes everything go crazy. unless your tracking your car and you know your way around tuning suspension you wont notice the "lack of quality" in the megan racing coils. Or hey go BC they are excellent from what i hear
