to cut or not to cut!

ok.. i have RB springs on my GSLSE.i got them from my uncle. i noticed that while i was putting them on that the rear springs were cut, but the front arent. Now my car is just a little lower in the rear. it still rides good. he mustve just cut a coil off it. my question is: should i cut the front springs to even it out w the rear?? or should i just leave it?? I have brand new Illuminas on my 7 now and i dont wanna ruin them from bottoming out. i dont want it too low. i just want it to look even and ride how a 7 is supposed to ride.

Why don't you just get another set of RB rears, they sell them individually and they're not very expensive. Cutting springs is a stupid practice.

If you like it, leave it as is. It isn't going to hurt anything to run it that way.

I'd buy a set of rears and replace the cut springs. I would definately NOT cut the fronts.

In this case, since the RB springs have already lowered the car quite a bit, I would not cut the front. You will end up with the front too low for street use.

My daily driver is a GSL-SE. I have been a first gen man since 1983
