Which color TE37's should I have? Pics are great!

I recently picked up a black r2 fd with white volk te37's with intentions of having them powdercoated a color between gold and bronze. Now I'm having second thoughts?! I'm thinking a dark titanium glossy color might look nice (kind of like the color of the new Acura TL type S wheels). Also, I'm tempted to have them powdercoated black with the red lip - time attack style. I've found several pictures of bronze te37's on black fd's, but not much else.

Any pics or suggestions would be great!!

Black wheels always have been in.
Maybe its a racing thing, not normally seen on street cars.
Don't do time attack. Its lame. I don't think it goes well with
any color. Not even Rays Wheels sponsored cars are using them.

Powdercoat them ceramic white, if you don't like that.
Keep it simple with bronze or gunmetal.

Black wheels usually mean you are trying to hide them. and there is no need to hide te37's. I like bronze alot but you do see alot of it. a darker anthracite would look pretty good, add it would tend to hide brake dust as well.

Why are you asking us how to dress up your car:
(1) color blind
(2) afraid of being yourself
(3) want to be accepted the comunity?

Be an adult/individual and make your own decision and do it yourway.

Wow dude! Not color blind. #2 and #3 are just funny, haha! You seem to be a pretty "active" board member here, so I hope your attitude isn't reflective of most members. You're making it sound like I'm a weak human being, needing everyone elses APPROVAL - that's a pretty low blow, haha! Not sure what you do for a living, but being a cost accountant myself, I am pretty tight and smart with my money and don't much like throwing down cash for something I'm not going to enjoy. Is it so wrong to ask for pictures and suggestions before I dive into powdercoating the te37's?

Bump... post up some pics/suggestions!

i think what he means is you should make the decision on your own personal taste that you like. asking for suggestions is cool and all but a suggestion that sounds good now may not be what you want later. if you decide what you want because you like it then go for it cuz thats your style. but if your looking for suggestions, i personally like them in white

Understood... I realize that I'm making the decision myself, and am going to base it solely on my OWN taste... duh! I guess I should have replaced "suggestion" with "idea." Color possibilities are endless since they're being powdercoated... hence my idea of a dark chrome look. Didn't know I was going to get flamed!

If you're looking for opinions, I think white wheels are ugly personally. Gold too. Bronze is passable on some colors, but I'd go with black or a shade of silver.

I'd go for what will actually look good, and not worry about how "in", "out", "old", "new" or "done" or not it is.

+1 agree. i saw an mid night blue fd ( at night ) and it have white rims on it. IMO that **** just ugly. since ur fd is black, y dont u go with black rims? or gun metal? stay away from those that make ur fd become a ricer.
