Coilovers

Hey guys, hoping I can get some direction on which suspension to go with. Currently I have never used Tokico Illuminas (car sat for years) with stock springs. I've yet to see how it rides but the reason for wanting to change them out is because of the ride height. I'm looking for more of a stance. So would it be worth changing the springs to Tein springs or swap out and go with Tein Flex Z or their street advanced.
The car probably won't see track days so mostly a weekend drive around.

Thanks!

Several options discussed and reviewed here (if you haven’t already seen it). Some will lower, it depends on your budget, tastes in ride quality and how much lower you’re looking for. If it’s street driven I wouldn’t be looking for a lot.

BC coils for me seems little stiff on the street on the rx7. I also have their coils on the Nsx with swift springs and I was really amazed how smooth it was, but its comparing apples to oranges. If I had to do it again I would have opted with upgraded swift springs for the rx7 aswell.

I think I'm going to give the Tein Flex Z a try. Hopefully the 10/8 isn't to stiff.

Does anyone know if you can use the stock upper rubber mount in place of the metal one that comes with the flex z coilovers? Would like to avoid road vibration transfer.
