Coilover install questions
So I have done some searching, but I am still not sure about my coilover install.
I am going from a tired 87k mile touring to Cusco Zero-2s.
To remove the front shocks-
1. Remove the sway bar
2. remove the bottom of the shock
3. remove the 3 bolts for the pillow ball
4. remove the upper A arm where it bolts to the frame
5. rotate the shock and A arm out so that you can remove the shock.
6. install coilover in reverse order?
What do I do with the bolt in the center on top of hte shock? I dont have an impact gun, so I am not sure that I can get that off. How do I get the rubber to clear the hole? Should I just cut it out?
What do I torque the 3 pillow ball studs to?
What about the bottom bolt?
What about the A arm bolts?
To do the rears-
1. Unbolt the swaybar
2. unbolt the bottom of the shock
3. unbolt the 3 bolts on the pillow
4. remove the shock
5. install in the reverse order?
What are the torques?
Is there anywhere that has a writeup?

1. The FSM has the basic info, including torque settings!
2. Max Cooper and Damon have both posted write-ups or have them on their websites. There are also write-ups at www.fd3s.net.
3. You should not be touching the nut on top of the coilover assembly!
4. Just pull the OEM coilover assembly out, still together. You will need a spring compressor to safely disassemble.
5. The Cusco's should just swap right in. You won't be reusing any of the stock pieces -- upper spring mount, etc.
6. I repeat, you should NOT be touching the nut on top of the coilover assembly!
