Coilover Choices - S5 Turbo II
Sigh, well, I've tried all I can to come to a decision, but I still can't make up my mind about coilovers. Pretty much, the shocks on my 89 TII are blown, and I've decided to get a set of coilovers. Now, the set that I want the most are the Zeal Function Xs. However, while I technically can afford them, they are not quite as responsible a purchase as cheaper sets. I can get JIC FLT-A2s for 1400, but I've heard bad things about their quality. So I'm left with a couple more entry level choices, these are the Stance coilovers, used HKS coilovers and the silkroad coilovers. I have heard a ton about stance coilovers, but very little of it is longterm. I have heard almost NOTHING about silkroad and hks coilovers. Can anyone tell me anything about the silkroad and hks coilovers? Especially in comparison to those sets made by stance, zeal, etc? Thanks.

I got a ride in a stance equipped FC, which was fun. I just want a quality setup that can be used for racing, and offers many levels of adjustability. I have toyed with the idea of bilstein shocks and ground control sleeves, but for the price, I don't really get the adjustability that I want.

no mention of tein? flex's are as adjustable as they come, decently priced (got mine on ebay for 1100 shipped), EDFC compatible (nice considering the rear shock adjusters are under the speakers), and green. like a ninja turtle. oh yah and tein can rebuild shocks for 25 each with quick turnaround time, if you ever blow one somehow (no sending away to japan or just crying and buying a new setup)
