Thumbs up Cheapest Tire Online Place

I was searching for some 235/45/17 all over the place and everyone wanted at least around the $120.00 price each, well thank God for a friend that reffered me to this site. I just ordered 2 - 235/45/17 BFG COMP TA HR4 for $ 155.37 shipped to my door with a tracking number. Hopefully all you peeps get your deals on with them also.

They do have pretty good prices. Finally someone that can compete with tire rack.

Good link. I looked up some tires (BFG KD, S03pp) and they are about the same prices as the Tire Rack. They do carry Toyo's however, to include the new T1-R which is surprisingly priced similarly to the old T1-S. Unfortunately, T1-R doesnt come in 245/45/16 or 275/40/17, sizes that alot of us run.

prices aren't bad. don't underestimate you local tire guys though. there is a place local to me that has some good prices on tires. for a T1-S in 255/40/17 they quoted me $170 each mounted and balanced. and they do some quality mounting and balancing, not a bunch of monkeys.

Rich,

I recently bought a set of Toyo T1-R's, size 245/45/16 for my stock FD wheels. So far, I like them

Doh! I guess I should have said that that specific vender doesnt list those sizes, lol.

What are your initial impressions?

http://onlinetires.com does have good prices, but you get hit with tax if you live in CA.

http://vulcantire.com is good, too. That's where I got my recent Falkens from.

I still like http://tirerack.com as well, and just got some track tires from them this week.

If you show the local tire shop your internet prices with shipping (and add mounting and balancing, ~$70 when I did some last week at the place that used to be cheap ), they will often match the deal. Discount Tire and America's Tire stores are the ones that I have had luck with in this regard.

This is true since I've done this almost everytime I buy tires. Tires.com (their online website) usually has the tires cheaper than the actual stores. One thing that sucks about their price matching is they charge you for shipping.

Max, do they charge you for shipping when you price match with them? I could have sworn they didnt do that before but unfortunately I cant find any of my old receipts.

My set of T1-R's were $590 out the door. 245/45/16's.

Bought them at the local tire shop after telling them that I was shopping on-line .
