Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R

Anybody running these? Tires are bald on my FD and I need maximum grip with no slip.

Yea they are one of the ultimate street tires to run.

Excellent grip in dry and wet
Excellent road manners in terms of noise

Here is a tire rack link

Only one real negative but its scarifies for being a better street tire...the side walls are softer than the yokohama advan neova so its initial response characteristic is slower. you cannot go wrong with this tire

They're supposed to be THE best street tire right now. They'd better be faster than my hankook rs-2s.

I am planning to put the RE01R on my sti next year, its THE hot street tire to run considering the AD07 advan is so expensive, and I have those too, they are amazing but fugging A they are expensive.

I have them on now and I'm pretty impressed. Especially on wet road surfaces. It's been monsoon raining for last three days here and aqua planing is very minimal.

They run better than the MX's and the RT-615's.

Only the Advan Neova AD07 is better.

they are great tires. i use them on my civic si for track events and they sure grip.... feels like i would never lose grip. they make me look good on the track. i am faster than most in my novice groups in the corners and i have the slower car. this season i passed evos, 911 and a couple m3s. all in the novice groups. when next seaon rolls around i mgiht go with the 265....i think that's the biggest they make for my rx7. they feel alot better than my pilot 2s. kvn
