Tire to wheel sizing question

I am shopping for snow tires. My original tire size is 215/70R15. I found a set of snow tires that are 185/65R15 for a good price. Will these tires have problems fitting my wheel due to the narrower width? If so, what is the narrowist tire I should shop for. Thanks.

we need the rim width spec......and why dont you post this in the wheel/tire section of the forum.

edit: nvm....you did...

if the width is under atleast 6.5 inches, the 185 should be alright.

I think that narrow tires works best in the snow, I might be mistaken.

From what I have gathered, it is a 15x6.5 wheel. So it should be okay?
