Brake break-in question???

I just put a set of Powerslot rotors and new Hawk HPS pads on all four wheels. What is the best way to break these in? I saw a post where it said I should pre-bed the pads with the old rotors, but my old rotors were thrashed. Anyone got any advice?

My Hawk HP+ pads came with instructions. If I remember correctly they said to do 6 stops from 30 mph with moderate pressure, allowing the brakes to cool each time. Then 2 more stops from 40 mph with high pressure letting the brakes cool again.

I just installed mine a couple weeks ago and they "came in" really quick. Minimal break in required. This was without new rotors though.

I love my HP+ pads; still can't get over how much quicker the car stops. You can get into the anti-lock NOW whenever you want.
