black on black FD

Hey I was wodnering what you guys thought of black wheels on a FD. Cuz at one point I saw this most amazing pic of a black FD with the mazdaspeed widebody fenders or whatever they're called and some black wheels with an insane silver lip. It wasnt a lip it was like 3 lips and thena black rest of teh wheel. ANyone have that pic? Also, I keep thinkin about doin that set up with my mine. What do you guys think of black FDs with black wheels with the polished lip?

These are definitely not the ones I was talking about, but because I don't expect to ever find those wheels, I was thinking maybe something more like this cept with maybe more of a pronounced of layered lip.

Black on black is pretty cool. Batman's car is black with black rims and it looks mean; IMO don't go with the polished lip . . . . i don't think that will look good.

I think Black on Gold or Bronze looks better.

Btw. I'm gonna get black wheels for my car in a couple of month, would you send me a link to the shopps that sell these wheels?

I liked this ones best:

You can't go wrong w/ either all black, or black centers w/ polished lip on a black car.

Alright, well I was just searching google to find those. I'm not sure if these are good deals, but they seem to brag about having good package deals w/ the rims and tires. Here's that one:http://www.bigwheels.net/wheelpackag...iclemodel=RX-7

And the first ones I posted, "Zenetti Mystic Black" are from http://www.zenetti.com/main.htm . The only reason I found out about them is cuz I went to Hub Cap Annie in Atlanta and showed him the pic of the car I was talking about in my first thread and he suggested these.

Although I'll be on the look out for more styles and prices.

Those first rims would look awesome on an all black FD. Here is a pic of an IS300 with rims similar to them. Not the same, but gives you an idea.

Hell yeah! Thats what I was thinkin about. The guy at Hub Cap Annie gave me a deal I could get those 4 Black Zenettis and 4 225/40/18 Michelin Sport Pilots for $1200. Thats an amazing deal. But I'm thinkin now that I want maybe 245 or 265/30/18s. Should I go for the stock width just cuz its so cheap?

The original wheels you were talking about are Work, I think. Many of the older 3 piece wheels have "stepped" lips because they use the same center sections on multiple sizes.

Hmm, there web site wasn't much use, I guess cuz they're showcasing their new wheels. Any ideas on how to get ahold of this pic? I'll keep searchin the web.

Actually, I take it back the pic I saw was of a new body kit for the rex. This was last year though. But it was some wild black FD with really sweet rims like I was trying to describe. Come to think of it, I think I saw it on this forum, but searching for it has proved useless.
