OK, here's some answers to the questions fro me since last time I checked the thread:

1. No handbrake, since the rear calipers do not have any provision for it. As Max said, you do not miss it. You could always carry a wheel chock if you lived in a hilly city

2. The brakes are manual. I do not miss the power assist. In fact, the feel is a lot better. To me power brakes seem to be almost linear in force required from your leg, and with power assist, to brake harder you only push down on the pedal farther, as opposed to pushing harder. I like the "push harder to stop harder" idea. I am also a bigger guy, and so do find that I tend to push too hard on power assisted brakes.

3. I still have the anti-lock module.

4. The BFG at 265 front looks fine. To me, I notice that the sidewall is a bot taller than on the rears, but no one else I have pointed that out to has said it was obvious. The overall wheel width is 11" on the outside. Bead to bead it is 10".

5. I think Mark Valskis (Valspeed) took down his web pages on the brakes. The link I have no longr works. Mark and Duane Krumweide of Crooked Willow Racing had a few joint projects going, so here is Duane's company:

Cheers,

Steve

Corrked Willow Racing has awesome carbon fiber brake ducts. I am not sure if Duane is still producing these. In fact, now that I am thinking about it, he was going to hand these off to someone else. I will check on that, but in the mean time, here is a link and some pics:

I have the six piston AP kit on my FD. 14 inch in front and 13 in the rear. The rear has 4 piston Brembo calipers. If A-Spec would post the photos you all could see them. They have the Distribution rights to the kit I developed. Maybe Sean will see this and post pics?

Seems like A-Spec has alot of cool stuff that nobody knows about because it isn't on their site.

Ha Ha very funny with the getting the pictures up I'm not allowed to post pictures Rick, and I remember putting on your Brembo's Steve, fun job. I run the stoptech fronts and will be putting the kit Rick worked so hard on in the rear. The BFG are the way to go Let me know if you need a set. I get them cheaper than anywhere, and no I cannot post a price either.
