Suspension parts for 79 LE
OK guys after taking her out for our first spin in 7 years and nearly knocking my *** over every bump I'm thinking it might be time for some new shocks and springs. The brake work is being done this week and thought I'd kill two birds with one check and get the shocks and springs done while it's all apart.
I need a reliable supplier who can get stuff to me fairly quickly and suggestions for brands and such.
Looking at replacing:
Front cartridges and springs
Rear shocks and springs
and possibly some bushings, hubby is out checking those out as I type.
Modacar.com has a Eibach spring kit, front and rear for $199 and Tokico HP premium strut kits, front and rear for $219. Could get a suspension kit from the same folks, Eibach springs (4) and Tokico Adjustable struts (4) for $650. Good prices? Right stuff? Anyone do business with these guys? Keep in mind I'm not looking to race and am trying to keep her as close to original as possible, though comfort and availability will play a part too.
Any help would be great,
