BFGoodrich g Force 2 rubber

Has anyone any experience with their RX-7 wearing the new BF Goodrich g Force 2 rubber? (These are the ones with a tread design a bit like a Spider Web).
I read Tire Rack's Feedback, and although fantastic results were reported, none were RX-Specific.
Right now I've got a set of Michelin Pilots (215-50-17) on my '88 Convertible, and plan on shodding it with 225-45-17.
I never drive it in wet conditions (dry, Spring, Summer, and Fall days only).

would they be the drag radials? if so, wear is horrible, and grip isnt the best until they are warm. those experiances are however made on the nittos, on my friends r34 gtst.

Look for drag or auto-x tires? I plan on running the g-force t/a KDs, which I heard are great. I'll let you know as soon as my current tires run low, which should be around halloween or turkey day.
