kumhos are a loud tire and after working at a tire and wheel shop, i would not recommend them. I voted for the yokohamas because the Falkens seem soft and wear a little more IMHO. i had falkens in the back and they wore pretty fast considering i did a sweet alignment job before i put them on. Ive had nothing but good responses and reviews with the es100s and always recommend them as a candidate

i have driven on the ES100s and the Kumhos, ES100s are a nice progressive tire from cold-warm, responsive when sliding as well. the Falken 451s arent really a max performance tire, theyre more focused on good looks and All weather traction, try the St-115. And the kumho 711s arent even in the same category. they are for poor suckers who cant afford Zrated tires. the 712s feel funky when driven hard.

I vote for BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radials. these things stick like **** to carpet, and i have found them better than nittos.

I bought the yoko ES100's. I hated them. Sent them back and got the Bridgestone 750's. That was a huge improvement, for a little more money. I don't know what size you are getting, so I don't know if the Bridgestones are in your price range.

I bought 245/45/16's for all 4 corners. They were $123 each at the tire rack.

A huge improvement over the ES100.

i was always under the impression that the bfgoodrich gforce t/a, whatever teh street version is, is the better tire out there for dry traction. supposed to be very sticky for how long they last.

aren't they expensive tho, sorry to sound cheap but my tax return has to pay for these tires and some other things that leaves me with about 400 for tires

I voted for the FK-451's. I have them in 225/45/17 on mustang GT wheels and they're great! I was at the track with them this weekend and with only a cone filter, cold airbox, headlight air scoop, full RB exhaust (from manifold back) and wheels/tires as mods, I was able to chase down and pass (among other things) a BMW 330 Ci, a heavily modded BMW 2002, a Porsche 944, and a Lotus Esprit S4! All the drivers were in the same skill class as me. Enough said.
