I just installed Dave Breslau's mounts. Crooked Willow used to sell these, but now you just contact Dave directly (See the CW website for his address). IMO, if you want high-quality, super strong mounts, then look no further.

I've also got one of his pedal extenders. Also top quality.

Oops, sent that before I was finished... here's why I like Dave Breslau's mounts:

- the main part of the mounts that hold the swaybar are made from a solid chunk of aluminum, have radiused edges to relieve stress and webbing to reinforce without excess weight

- they are shorter than a stock mount, so that the swaybar ends up about an inch higher from the ground (less chance of hitting something that you drive over)

- they have a durable powder coated finish (not sure what color options he has, if you care)

- they have side clamps that nestle the mounts against the frame rail to help prevent side-to-side rocking

- the radiator mounting tabs are separate pieces that bolt to the main mounts, and can be customized (within reason) by Dave, so that if you want to relocate the radiator somewhat, it is possible to do so without changing the rest of the mounts

- Dave ships right away (if it's in stock)

In fact, Dave doesn't even reply anymore. Anyone know what's up with him lately ? Did he quit producing these mounts ? I need to get a set and would like to get his mounts...

I think last time I emailed him about 2 weeks ago. He mention that he is travelling somewhere.
So maybe he is on vacation or business trip.
Also, I heard from him that he does not like the powdercoating place he used. He is changing them soon.

I got his swaybar mount, very nicely done product. I have not install it yet however.

Anyone knows if he can provide a receipt ? I will be having my swaybar mounts covered by insurance and will need to provide the receipt to them...

I contacted Dave about 2 weeks ago and he didn't reply yet... I guess I'll send him another email or try to get mounts elsewhere...

Thanks !

Hi Cruiser,
I did get your message, and tried replying twice, but there was some sort of email failure that
prevented the message from getting out. I even contacted the ISP for your address, but they weren't
able to help. If you'd like, please email me again from a different account (if you can) or I can try to help
you out here. I'll look for your email over the next few days. And yes, I can provide a receipt.

As David I. mentioned, I am still around, and have been spending (too much!) money getting a shop
together, where I'll be developing new rotary engine and performance parts for the 3rd gen, and the new RX-8.
I've got the building and land, some of the tools, but still need to get the heat installed (New Hampshire in
January is cold ;-). Should be operational in the next two months, in the meantime I am still selling my
mounts and pedal adapters, so I welcome orders!

Ok cool

We finally get together, lol.
Is there a way my Mazda service can order from you online (i.e. via credit card) ? I need to get them the web addresses where they can order stuff online by tomorrow.

I hope we can get this deal through as your swaybar mounts are regarded as THE BEST everywhere I went and since the insurance is covering the replacement I figure I should go with the best anyway
