The best lsd & manual trans oil?

hey guys

so this is going to be my first LSD & MANUAL TRANS oil change and i was wondering which oil and weight would you guys recommend for my FC? i was thinking of going with Royal Purple or Motul but my concern will these lock up my N/A diff?

and also have any of you guys used
Ford or GM friction modifier in your gear box? or if there is a better one out there all info would be helpful

thanks

Ricky

For manual trannies, I've always used a 50/50 mix of gear lube and ATF. Keeps the synchros clean and moving freely. Never had an issue with it, and it always improves shifting. Been doing this for over two decades since I read about it in How to Hotrod and Race your Datsun.

I've run Redline in my stock boxes. They seemed pretty happy with it.
That said, I did explode two of them before swapping in the T5 Dogbox (both 3rd gear failures, under hard road racing conditions, with an unsprung dual disk clutch and 400rwhp)

I have only run Mobil 1 in everything racing for years. Never a lube failure.
Most any synthetic is a good bet. Only gear lube in the trans and diff. No ATF.
Friction modifiers were for clutch type LSD's.

They only sell Redline in one store where I live. It's pretty stupid. But yeah, Redline.
