If you are only going to use them for street driving, just get the Tein SS:

My Tein Flexes are good on the street.

I have a question though, if you're only going to run on the street, why are you looking at coilovers? Wide Wheels? More adjustability?

Thanks for the question. I'm looking to increase tire size in the rear and also lower the car about an inch +/-, adjustability is a +

Realistically I don't want to spend more than $1,200. I was looking at NEX and Megan and possibly TEIN.

More than your $1200 budget. Just get the Tein SS and call it a day. It will be more than you need.

If you don't need height adjustability. Koni shocks and some good springs will give you a softer ride that some coilovers can't do.

But for your price I would go the same route I went. I got an insane deal on some Greddy coilovers, only thing that kind of disappoints me is that the body is aluminium.

www.prostreetonline.com, took awhile to get them but for like 400$+ off retail sick deal!

What kind of ride do you get with the Tein setup? Is it too harsh for street use?

I do need the height adjustability and I'm also planning on a wide wheel/tire setup for the rear as I will be running a staggard wheel/tire setup. Will the Greddy setup allow for my requirements?

What he said learn what rates mean. Anyone here will give you a helping hand in your question but there is alot of information on this forum and it is up to YOU to go out and get it.

All coilovers are ride height adjustable that is what makes them coilovers. Also the only reason you would need coilovers for rims is if you had something like 18*10+50's which require the smaller springs of some sizes of coilovers. FWIW I know someone running 19's on Koni's and Eibach's.

Thanks guys, after reading the Tein write up on the super street units I'm sure I'll be getting the Tein coilovers. They seem to have everything that I need for my FD setup.
