Question Anyone running SSR GT1's?

I'm definitely interested in these rims. I think they look sweet ! Do any of you guys have these on your FDs? If so, how do you like them? Where did you get them, and how much?

Thanks guys,

Had SSR Decoltes (Decolites?), and they are very nice, and on the lighter side. Can't go wrong!

Damn, this thread is old as the hills! I think I was making like 275 rwhp back in 2001, lol.

I eventually ended up getting a killer deal on my Fikses on ebay. I would recommend keeping your eye on Ebay and Craig's list. You also can try PMing FDNewbie, he may be able to get them for you from Japan.

Yea those Fikses are sexy Rich, I'd go with those anyday but my friend has three of these GT1's he just got on a parts car from an auction and I just can't pass them up. Thanks for the info I'll keep my eyes peeled and check with Ramy about the JDM hookup, y0

BTW, anyone have these on thier FD that wants to share some pics?

The SSR GT1 was discontinued about a year ago and are now completely sold out. The SSR GT3 is almost identical except for the bolts around the perimeter of the wheel. I can get those in 18" for the following sizes to fit an FD.

18X8.5 SSR GT3 - 629.00 ea
18X10 SSR GT3 - 659.00 ea

They are on back order currently due to tha SSR/Tanabe buy out. so you may be looking at a few months.

GT3's

I was looking at the GT1's also.
The GT3's are different, much heavier multi-piece
For 18x7.5, almost 7lb's each, 17.8lb vs 24.3lb, not to
mention the price

I was thinking of the virtually identical MSR 044's instead.
They're actually made by American Racing, way cheaper and lighter
than the GT3's
