I looked into purchasing those once but was scared off by the weight...24+ lbs in the 17x8 size...

I think the cheapest price I could find was $2450 for all 4. Unfortunately, I forgot where I found that price.

I wanted those myself, but Rishie (ARD T2) told me they were discontinued and that he couldn't get them anymore.

I am expecting a price quote today... I'll let you know what they tell me. The dealer I spoke with told me that he can get them. They have to come from Japan... but never mentioned they were discontinued.

Hey Jim, I know when steve was getting his wheels he ordered them through a place in Hawaii. You might ask him about it. I gave him your number I dont know whether he has called you or not. Are you still planning on being at the dyno Sat at 8:30?? I will prob be up there watching. I prob wont put mine on until I get that new boost sensor and I can tune the car to 20psi. Give me a call sometime and let me knoe what you are planning on doing.

mine came from the hawaiian distributor also. basically all JDM ssr's used to come from either nakayama (used to be the official US SSR distributer) or the hawaiin distributor. nakayama is the one who gave me the number to the place in hawaii. unfortunately i can't find their number anymore.

what i heard about a year ago is that nakayama wanted to drop being the official SSR importer because Tirerack started expanding their SSR lineup and stealing all the business. looks like they did... i don't see any mention of SSR on their page anymore. looks like they might be making SSR copies.

If anyone wants these wheels.... call here and ask for Jeff. He has been a pleasure to work with.

808-545-1658

He is in Hawaii so plan your call accordingly.

I'm about 99% sure I'm getting these.

18x9.5 front
18x11 rear (68mm lip)

By the way.. if you want them you better order soon. The last shipment for the year is about to go out.

Check this pic of them polished.... I am going with the painted

And DefBringer... yeah they are a little heavier than the Volks you have.. but I think they are the best compromise of looks/weight/custom offsets. Not to mention with these offsets I can put a 6piston big-brake kit on!!!!
