I was wondering if anyone knew the difference between Advan RGII and RG wheels. I've been looking at either/both of them after seeing the RG's on that blue FD that FDHayce put on the pics thread (below). I'm not sure if it would be just looks or a difference in the way they're made (RGII's stronger maybe), just curious.

Oh and I finally figured out those are Pan Speed sides, haha. Kinda weak that they're just aluminum pieces but I think they look alright. I love the way this car is set up, except for the beatup kinda look in some places, and I'm not sure what kinda canards those are on the front, haha.

 

If they only came in 11" widths...there are subtle differences in the style of the wheels. The RG's seem to have a bit more lip on them compared to the RGII's.

 

Here's some pics side by side of the two...RG is first, RGII is second.

 

RGII Has the spokes going further out, and the "lip behind" the spoke (like one of the volk wheels)

RG has more curve to the spoke itself it appears - and is discontinued production

 

****, I gotta find some RG's, I'm fiending for these things. The RGIIs are alright but I like the lip. Thanks guys.
