Anyone interested in a dual manual master cylinder conversion?

This is the very limited production kit made by Mark Valskis and sold through Crooked Willow. Pictures available on request, please e-mail jimlab@earthlink.net. Thanks!

Actually, it replaces the power brake booster with two AP Racing manual master cylinders, one for the front brake "circuit", and one for the rear. The bore size of the master cylinders can be selected to set the correct front-rear bias, and the link bar in the assembly can be adjusted to proportion more pedal effort to one or the other of the two master cylinders.

It has dual reservoirs, one on each master cylinder (and one more seperate reservoir for the clutch master cylinder), so if either system fails, only half of the brake system is inoperable, unlike the OEM system which can fail unexpectedly if the check valve in the vacuum line from the engine to the brake booster is faulty. The kit includes all requires lines and brackets, etc. Original price was $1,600, and the owner is asking $1,100.

Looks like this...

Off topic but sort of relevant to this thread: I just noticed that Mark Valkis has his pristine RX7 up for sale. I hope we are not losing another RX7 enthusiast/ innovator of wild brake kits.

Still off the subject: Is Mark the same guy that made the carbon fiber brake ducts for CWC?

No, he states on his website that he got the carbon fiber brake ducts from CWC.

I think you may be thinking of David Breslau but I am not sure if he designed them.

Mark was the big brake kit, dual master cylinder guy. David Breslau is the sway bar mount guy. Duane Krumweide is/was the carbon fiber IC duct/brake duct guy.
