I have the HKS Hyper "D" coilovers. Mine also Say DRAG. Don't try these coilovers on a roadcourse/auto cross...you'll get lots of body lean. I think my rear coils are 4 kilo springs

he's referring to hipermax "D" for drifting.

i think those setups are 7 n' 8 spring rates...

Anyone have a link or info on the Type "D"? HKS USA only lists the drag which has the word "drag" on them, so i'm assuming "D" is the drift version.

Are they 7-F's & 8-R's? I found them on http://www.hks-power.co.jp/ but it doesn't tell me anything, even after translating. It doesn't say the spring rate or what they've done to make them a drift version. If it's just stiffer rear springs then they can be rotated to the front. Allthough the current picture shows linear springs with helper springs under them and the set I have has progressive springs.

The springs are 7kg-F/6kg-R and the upper mounts have pillowballs. My set have a spacer in the fronts and the new ones in the pic above have helper springs. By the extra coller on the above pic it looks like the body may be lowered/raised seperately allowing full stroke.
