ANyBody Running Yokohama ADvaN A048?
My kid literally drools over them.
He also thinks that anyone who whines about how loud they are is a cry-baby. ;-)
I think you'll like them too. They wear at least as well as the Toyo RA-1. Probably not the best autoX tire as they seem need to build up some heat to stick.
I have not put enough mileage on them on the street, but figure you can get 10,000 miles on them, unless you're into smokeshows and donuts.

LOL, a Michilin baby.
I used the A032's and yes they were loud and it took a burnout or two to make them stick. I think I got 10-15k mi on them with mostly street. I would say they are the type of tires you want if you have a seperate set of dedicated track only wheels. Nitto also has a tire to consider as well http://www.nittotire.com/tires_nt01.asp

in the rain, they werent too bad. i used these tires for track/street use for a few months and didnt experience any scary moments - then again they were relatively new. once they wear down though, just be a little cautious.
