Talking Street/AutoX combo or buy seperate sets?

Well I seem to be ok at 321rwhp with 225/255 and can increase to 235/265. Any wider and she gets taller. So trying to figure out what width was a challenge. 255's F/R was an easy choice but with the price of wheels and allready having 355's in the rear it seamed like a waste of money. So then there's 285/F & 315/R like that silver car with Feed fender and Petit rear flares. I love that setup but how will that effect handling and why to the JDM track guys use the same setup I currently have or 255 all around? So my latest decision is 295/35-18's all around.

If someone can explain how much of a difference a balanced setup is apposed to a stagered fitment, please chime in. What i'm really asking is someone that's actually driven on both on a track.

For 255's all around:
Work Meister S2R (18x9). I don't beleive I could get the offset's for 285's.
Buddy Club P1 QF (forged 1 peice and probably the lightest 1pc aluminum) Again limited offsets.

For 285's (18x10) all around:
Volk Racing GTN

For 295's (18x11) all around:
CCW 505A (special order custom offset and have dome many RX7 fitments)
Work Meister S1 3-pc (offsets in 45 & 52 or can special order custom offset)

I may not stay with AutoX as seat time is less then gokarts at Dromo1. Maybe prctice will make up for it I guess. If you can practice all day then limited time on race days is ok. I would like to move up to club or some kind of open track though.

Whoops I messed up ont he poll.

Dual purpose set or seperate street and track sets?
Same width front/rear or wider rear?

I know it's been asked before but by now there has to have been someone that has actually tried multiple setups and or has both street and track wheels and can give me real world experience. thanks
