Anybody have issues with Pettit Trailing Arms?

I'm installing the Pettit trailing arms and I'm having fitment issues. Since the Pettit kit doesn't come with instruction, just a diagram, I thought I would ask you guys.

If I put both washers and the two cone shaped pieces in the bracket where the original rubber bushing was, I can't get all the pieces to fit in there. Does anybody think it would be a problem to leave out one of the washers? I could fit it in there like that but I'm not sure if that would be sloppy. My other alternative would be to hammer the bracket out about a mm or two to make it fit. Would anybody see a problem with that solution?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Might also want to call Pettit and get the scoop direct from the horse's mouth.
