Another fine reason for not liking somthing.
So... with this logic, if they pimped an RX-7 on that show, you would stay away from those too?

Well, i raced at the Tire racks facility test course last weekend and spoke with a guy named Luke that worked there and he said that its a pretty good tire for the money, way better then the Kumho estca Supras. The marketing scheme screams gimmick, but it seems like the tire is the real deal.

They only have the 205/55 16 size listed on Tire Rack's website. I'm assuming they actually have other sizes available?
That tire size is only $73 and you get what you pay for. They may be good for the price but can hardly be great tires.

For what it's worth, I have been running Toyo TPTs on my NA FC for more than a yea rnow. I have run one track event at VIR and plan to run at CMP this month. These are pretty good tires but I think I am going for the Fuzion ZR1 next time. Looks good and lots of positive reviews. I'll let yall know.

hey guys... well, we finally put some on. we have some 275/40/17's right now and they ride pretty well. arent too noisy, or so much that we can hear them over the exhaust. and they grip pretty well, even in the rain. the car is putting down about 310rwhp and it almost NEVER spins on dry pavement and Rarely spins on wet pavment. you can get them to break loose INTENTIONALLY. but if your boosting and driving and not trying to slide, they are pretty predictable.
the carcass profile of them is more of a tuner tire than a typical passenger tire. its got a thicker sidewall with a bead protector and is very similar appearing to one of those 205/35/18's that you see on alot of tuner rim/tire packages where the tires look like they are stretched to fit the wheel.
these tires are pretty damn wide and they still look like they are a few sizes too narrow for thte wheels we have. the wheels are 9.5" wide too. a 275 tire is SUPPOSED to be the proper width for a 9.5" wheel... but it looks like it needs a 295 or even 305 of this same design.

I have the fuzions (245/45/16) on my car and I am very pleased with them... especially for the price. They grip well in the dry and wet, and I can't comment on tread wear as I only have around 2,000 miles on them.
These tires are nice if your car is mostly driven on the street, although I do have a friend who does track days with these tires on his 240 and they hold up fine.
The only complaints I have from these tires is that the sidewall is a tad soft, and they seem to be a bit narrower than other 245 tires, but it really isn't bad. The Fuzions ($85) compare with other tires in the $110-$130 price range, a great bargain if you ask me. Once I get aftermarket wheels I will probably keep using fuzions for the street and get some better rubber on the stockers for racing.
