Question Any help to use lightweight Lugnuts?

Any help to use lightweight Lugnuts? Is it the one way to reduce the weight?

If you are desperate to get that extra 100000000th of a second in the quarter mile it might be worth the change.

From what I have found the aluminum lug nuts are too easy to strip out even with a torque wrench.

If you think about it you might only save a few ounces per wheel. It might make a half pound difference over the entire car.

You would probably save more weight by skipping a meal before you head to the track.
