any advice?

well heres the deal guys i want good setup for track and street.. what would be my best option? my budget is 1200 dollers!! so i want my car to handle better then anything lol!!

coilovers? but that will eat up the $1200 right there. (usually but depends on what brand you get)

Try Koni shocks and RSR Race Springs.

Used Koni's if possible. H & R lowering springs, Sway bar front and rear.

Or Used Koni's and Kumho 710's.

Or find the best driver at your club and ask him if he will co-drive with you. He can co-drive for free, you just want to learn.

Of the three, the last one is best.

I was serious. An experienced driver on the stock suspension could mop the floor with you on a set of Ohlins....

Given your budget, I would follow Mahjik's advice and run some Konis and RSR Race springs.
