problems with 19.5's in the back?
I currently have 18 x 8.5's all around, i have an oppurtunity to pick up the same discontinued wheels in 19 x 9.5 in the back, i would still run the 18 x 8.5 in the front. My first question is, would it look akward with 18's in the front and 19' s in the back? And will it fit, the offset is right here is the size of the tires, 285/35/19. My main reason is to pick up some extra traction in the back, just checking to make sure I can do it first. Thank you for your time.

Like Ryn said bro, your rear tire is seriously 350z status. Before even answering what is the offset? Is it a +40 or +45. If +45 you can do 275/30, but like rynberg mentioned the tire diameters aren't ideal. I've done staggered diameter setups before.
For this setup your best bet is to run a 245/35/18 front and 275/30/19 rear so at least the sidewalls look to be nearly the same height. What looks gay is when the front tire sidewall looks taller than the rear. So if you stagger wheel diameters on a car that shouldn't have it you will need to use staggered diameter tires so it has some symmetry in sidewall heights.
