Alternate FC Rear Trailing Arms

I was wondering if anyone has done something like swapping in, say e30 BMW rear arms or fabbed new rear arms. I saw on the 4 rotor build the guy drew something up, but never did anything with it. It just seems that since I'm removing the DTSS, there's no need for the arms to be nearly as beefy/heavy/complicated as they are. It would also be a good time to move the outboard pivot lower and farther back so that there's not nearly the camber gain on jounce. What are your thoughts?
