AD08R Reviews??

Hey guys,

I was in the market to put some Michelin PSS's on my FD since they were excellent on the m3, but soon realized at 17" they stop at 245mm wide tires . So my next option is the new AD08R's, but since I don't know much about them and only found two threads in this section that even mention them I figured I'd start one and ask.

Has anyone used these and what were your opinions of them? My use will be very spirited driving (mountain roads) and occasional track use. Approximately 3-5k miles a year.

Thanks,

~Anthony

They will outperform the Michelins by a fair margin. Ive never ran them but all the track guys I talk to love them performance wise dry/wet. One of the best street/track tires available including the Re-11's, Ziis, BFG rivals.

If there anything like my old AD08 I have on my FD. You can't go wrong, super in the wet as well dry.
Still prefer them over my Toyo R888's I use for track tire also.

Cool, I'll more than likely go with them.

They're very different tires than the PSS. PSS is a better street tire with less noise, better cold traction, softer ride and more than likely, last longer.

I am getting in some AD08R's unfortunately I won't be using them for a while since I have a new set of RE-11's waiting to go on.
