ABS wheel sensors back to front!

I have an extra pair of rear ABS wheel sensors could they be used on the front as front abs wheel sensors ?

Kind of simple yet complicated .. idont know how they work , if the front sensors are more complex or if its the same diff except with diff length of harness ..

so if anyone could give me a hand with this I'd owe them big time!

Pick-ups are quite different lengths from memory - and usually clearances are fairly critical for most of these magnetic sensors to function correctly....probably around 1~2mm required.

Don't know.

Resistance values at the front are around 1k, rears 1.6~1.7 - again from memory, for versions I - V at least....whether that's particularly critical???

For the effort involved with remaking mounts, maybe for no result, would have thought getting some second-hand units, for a few bucks, might be a better use of time. Bought several sets myself for very little, cause you certainly don't want to buy them new!
