Not really... I do notice it since the temps are cooler that traction isn't as good.

Setup: 17 x 9.5 +33 offset w/ 275, Tein Flex's, etc

Are you looking for traction in straight line or in a corner? This is important, imo.

Basically, where do you want this car to perform it's best, if for street I suggest turning the boost down. hehe. j/k. I think when mine is finished it will be closer to mid 400 benchmark. I guess I'll find out what i have to do then. I'm stretching tires and they are kinda meant to spin. hehe. I'm going to see if I can fit these 18x10 and 18x11.5, but I have Msport fender 50mm rear, and 20mm front.

For straightline. 16's and low tire pressure. hehe. Oversized diameter tire with good tall profile. For circuit, hmm, i think I have to ask how your boost response is and look at some dynos to try and really make a most educated guestimate. Obviously suspension also, based on your function.

yes, on an FC and no mods to the fenders, etc.. Its all in the offset. As far I think a 275 is max without flairs, and being you can only really run a 235 max up front (w/out) flairs you can to much steering problems with a super wide rear vs front.

BTW: My car was mod'd to basically accomidate all styles of driving, SCCA, drag & street, and mainly a track car (SCCA). My turbo is a T60-1 (.70 comp-1.00 A/R) and run 15-21psi depending on track temps/ambient temps etc. I wanted a "well rounded" RX-7 and I think this setup is very close... hope this helps.

I am looking for overall traction in the corners, in straight line, mostly on the street for the track I will have drag radials.
raising arizona;

Tein Flex coilovers, etc. Its not super low, but alot more than stock. I need to buy some Tein arms to get rid of the NEG rear, but other than that its pretty low.... Give me your e-mail and I'll send ya a photo.

jreynish@shaw.ca For photos... Yeah I would be interested to see some pics... At first I am looking to do 375 hp... then want to upgrade to cap it at about 450hp with all the trimmings
So I figure better to take car of this first rather then wishing I had the money to do it after I have the power... lol
