245's on an FC?

I've got some 16x8 +28's and I'd like to run 245/45R16 on all four, can this work?

Short answer: No. They will most likely rub on both the fender and the springs up front. You might be able to fit a 245 up front with rolling the fenders and coilovers with a higher offset. A 225 should be fine.

Hmm, yea I was thinking 225, but then a friend of mine pointed out that a 225 might be too narrow for an 8 inch rim, I'm assuming that's BS. Any chance of a 235 fitting?

the FD's stock size is 225/50/16 on an 8" rim.

you stole those of a rustang didn't ya???

225 isn't too narrow for the 8 inch rim... your problem is the offset... its about 15mm to light.. even with a 225, your tires are going to stick out from the fend about 1/2 inch and will be illegal in most states..

BUT..it will probably look really nice on the rear with the 245's!!!!!!

Here's a pic with 18X9's with 245's with about the same offest... your wheels are 1 inch narrower.. so figure that the tire section with will decreas by about 1/2 an inch.. put the tread width will still be the same.. as you can see... TREAD is sticking out past the fender.. so the smaller width rim isn't going to matter much
