245/40/17

will a 245/40/17 fit well on a 17/8 rear wheel of a FC??

Depending on offset, the short answer is yes. I have 235/40 on 17.7.5's and have TONS of room leftover. Many guys run 255/40's on 9" wide rims. It just depends on offset.

cool beans, tommorrow i get my rims and i will check that out, cause i am running 225/50/15.

275s will fit with perfect offset in the rear of an FC.
i'll be running either 255s or 265s on 9" wide wheels.
