I have the same size wheels and a similiar question. I currently have Bridgestone SO-2's, 234-45's on the front and 265-40's on the back, but these sizes seem mostly obsolete. Your sizes are the same ones I was considering for my next set.

Reading up on these the new Toyo R1R's look particularly intriguing, along with the Bridgestone RE-11's and the Yokokohama AD08's. Does anybody have experience with these, or any comparisons?

Thanks!

best autocross street tires are:

Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star-Spec
Bridestone Re-01R or RE-11
Falken Azenis RT-615
Advan Neova AD07

take your pick, you probably wont be able to tell the difference between any of them.

The Kumho XS has so far tested to be the fastest in reported testing (Grassroots Motorsports). It's NOT a good tire in the rain though.
