17x10 in rear of FD
17x10 in rear of FD
I tried searching, but search isn't working right now. What does it take to run a 17x10 inch rear wheel on a FD. I know with 18's you need a 2.5" diameter spring. Is this necessary for 17's. If possible, what offset are you guys running, the sizing chart says 44 offset fits, is there anything else? I am assuming that the fenders need to be rolled, am I correct here? Thanks for all of your help.
17x10 with a +35 offset would fit but require rolling the fenders slightly. I believe all it needed to clear was .15 of an inch so around a quarter inch would do. That's probably as far out as you want to go. Much farther starts pushing it.
Edit: I forgot, that's with the correct tire size of 275...

REAR ONLY:
You can run a 17x10 with a 275/40 tire down to about +41-42 offset without having to roll the fender. +50 offset would be best but will very likely require aftermarket trailing arms.
