1 gen suspension
Hey Guys
Just got me a 1 gen daily driver to use to the garage, shopping, parts pickup and stuff. But im not realy too familiar with 1 gen's.
Id like som help to get som info on what and where to get a good decent suspension setup for the 1 gen. It's a euro 85 mdl.
Im looking at re-speed's site and they got a lot of good options. Im having some play in the stearing so gonna think about getting there front stage 2 steering rack and pinion replacment. But the question is what suspension to get, what bushings to replace and what camber plates to be used?
It's gonna be used mostly on the street, but gonna track it too. Replacing the 12a with a Renesis 6 port during the next 3-4 months for the power and easier service
Going to put on some 8x15 wheels on it with Toyo R888 tires most likely, so it will need to be able to handle at the track. And i don't mind a little rough ride on the street, as i have been driving my former full race FD on the street as well with 16kg springs before

Re-speed did have nice parts available, I have many of them on my 1st gen, but they don't seem to be in business anymore. A lot of people have been ripped off, not betting their ordered parts.
Go with technotoytuning.com ... I just installed their camber plates and they seem to be really good quality. They have all kinds of suspension upgrades and apparently they have plans of making more parts available in the future.
If you're looking for basic upgrades, there's always racing beat.

Thanks for the tip. Don't want to be ripped off
Il have a look at them. Well im not looking for the normal upgrades. Gonna do some real changes to the 7. Want it to handle good, and be a fun little thing at the track as well.
As i got a 500rwhp Bridge Port FD and a 4 rotor race car in the making
So just want a fun daily driver that works, and is a blast to drive. As i realy like the small agile feel of the FB.
