1.25 Thread Pitch for what year?

Help!!!

What year did the 1.25 Thread Pitch begin and end?
It is my understanding that there was a change over for the 1981 model year?

Anyone no the change over year? Is the 1.25 thread pitch a "fine" thread pitch compared to the 1.00 thread pitch?

it's 12x1.25 vs 12x1.5

As far as I know all of them use the 12x1.5 pitch. 12x1.25 is nissan I beleive.

I didn't think the SA's (79-80) had a different pitch from the Fb's (81+) but I could be wrong. Ask in the 1st gen specific section.

Specifically, it is my understanding that the brake lines where different thread pitches.

If so what is the thread pitch and changeover year?

It is my understanding that up to 1981 the thread pitch on the brake line fittings is a 1.00 thread pitch and starting in 1981 the thread pitch is 1.25.

Is this correct?

You'll get a better response if you post in the 1st gen section. Most of those guys don't venture into here.
