safc2 tuning
so here we go.
i have a 88 10th ann rx7 turbo. so far the mods i have are
-RB turbo back exhaust
-s5 turbo with a knightsport upgrade( just a replacement bigger compressor housing and turbine. i think its considered a t3/to4e hybrid)
- rat nest and all emmisions removed with block off plates
-throttle body mod
-xtd 6 puck clutch
-fcd
-walbro 255lph fuel pump
-custom t.i.d.
-dual alternator pulley
- fresh rebulid with app 1500 miles on it
-larger spark plug wires, ngkr plugs
-blitz blow off valve
-550cc primaries
-1000cc secondaries
-safc2
-boost gauge
..........with that said my questions are about tuning this setup with the safc. i have a bad hesitation once my secondaries come in. now would this be running really rich b/c of the 1000cc secondaries? and would i just need to adjust the % down through the safc? i would love to get any anwsers i can get with this. also its pulling around 10 psi once the studder(hesistation) is through.
thanks,

well after hooking up the safc and playing around with it i ended up adding more fuel throughout the 4000-5000 rpm range. the ne-points i have set are 4000,4200,4600,5000. then i have the fuel added at those points at 4%,10%,9%,4%. this has gotten most of the hesistation gone but you can still feel a little bump when going through the rpm range. as for now i am pleased but am probably going with something more along the stand alone position or another piggy back with more adjustments. thinking aobut rtech with the palm pilot.

I am running a similar setup to what you have. What really worked for me was to get a wideband sensor and set up the throttle position wire to read boost instead of throttle postion. With the wideband sensor you can see your afr's at all rpm's and adjust accordingly, it really made a difference. They are expensive but in my opinion well worth it.
