need help with avc-r and afc
Hi can somebody help with with the base settings for apex afc and avc-r?
I'm not too familiar with the system.
It is for a 94 mazda rx7 and other mods include:cat back exh. ,downpipe,BOV, and intake.
I'm helping my friend, who just installed them, but I do not know the base settings to work with.
Thanks

go to [url]http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/. Search apexi then engine computer how to. That has the manuals for both. If you search a little bit it has the settings also, just can't remember where.

Thanks for the replies, they were a great help.
I have the s-afc set-up right, just need a little bit of fine tuning, but I have the avc-r reading on the rpm off from the tach. the reading is exactly half of what the value is supposed to be. and the throttle % is twice the value.
This reading is when I have the cyl=4,
when I changed the setting to be cyl=2, the everything matches completely. Has anyone encountered this problem before?
Should I stick with cyl=2 since it gives off the correct reading of the engine rpm?
By the way, I did a sensor check and everything is normal.
