500R would be a better daily driver for sure

So it's safe to say that (in general) this offers a 4500 rpm and up powerband, whereas the 500r offers a 3500 rpm and up powerband (on a 'normal' streetported engine)?

Better response, roughly the same power levels, could do better than some could do worse than others. It seems T78 dyno sheets vary greatly.

Any trick to getting this DP with dump to line up with wastgate? Seems about 1 inch too long? I have the DP installed to turbo but thats it. Just can not get the rest to line up. ????

Actually at the moment no, dont do too much PFC stuff so I haven't had a car that has had both this setup and that ECU here as of yet. You are correct that those maps you have will be good for a starting point just remember this will move more air than your last setup.

Got the DP fitted in but it was a major hassle. Now I have exhaust leaks around the wastegate. The flex area of the DP is hitting the rear fire wall pretty hard. From the way I had to push and angle everything together I now have the MP touching the side under car. Can this cause a fire?

Sean, it really seems as the dump tube is 3/4 to 1 inch too long?? I have to say the last kit from you with the 40r kit was sooooo much easier to install.

Yes the newer kits are harder to install for sure the older ones were much easier by far.

They all come with a 13psi spring. I never heard back form you on the DP so I assumed you got it to fit ok. Don't do anything with it I will get another DP made and sent out to you. We can also add the extra bung on there as well.

No, never really got it to fit so I have a bad exhaust leak (think that may be the reason I am having high boost with just spring) I was actually going to take it down Friday to a shop but worried they would make my stuff look like **** so this would be great! I have a couple questions. If you are going to make me one is it possible to do a 4 inch then taper to 3in mp? Or is that a waste? How long on either? I have a tuning session set up for June 2-3ish. Thanks, Mike

I have plans for a similar DP but tapered to 3.5". You can get a metalic cat in 3.5" (actually I think they might make one for 4" to) and you don't have A-Spec custom make your mid pipe (with cat & silencer) and exhaust you can get one premade from SMB in 3.5" all the way through.
