nope, just a few who like to exagerate hp numbers, say they do mods on your car, charge you for them and then you find out that they didnt even do the mods, just take your money and say oh well.

You need to drive/tow your RX-7s up to Albuquerque and RotaryRX. Tommy will take care of you. A couple of other owners from Cruses and El Paso used his services in the past.

El Paso is the number one spot for 2nd gen rebuilt engine.

This guy is a wizard on rebulding and tuning. He has a 10th anniversary with a motor that has about 400+ on horsepower. His shop is on Lee Trevino about a quarter mile north from I 10 freeway. He is the best there is. When he rebuilds engines the compression comes out reading 125 to 140 no joke. I recently was down there and he took a atkins motor apart that would not run after it got hot. Full of gas. Took it apart and it had 3 millimeter apex seals. Apparently atkins gave him a **** up housing and there wasn't enough play in the seals to get good compression. He did it all in one day. He is the bomb. I was there no ****. I only let him touch my seven's when it comes down to tuning it. He used to be the main mechanic for Pro tech performance here in austin. Pro tech open up a shop in El Paso along with a club. Pro tech decided to close shop and he decided to stay there and run his own business. He teaches classes there on rebuiding motors and he loves working on them. The guy's name is Del Garrison and his shop is called Powered by Del motorsports. Dont go to speed shop on I 10 they will rip you off. If you go to El Paso that is the guy to hit up . Peace out..........

I had a guy from a shop in El Paso pretty much tell me I was stupid for choosing a E11v2 over a PFC. I can't remember the name of the shop, something like Speed Factory.

I know this is a 12 year old post...

I just got a 84 GSL SE and wanted to see if there were any RC7 owners here in EP, and if there is a good shop that knows the car.
I saw the suggestion from 2006, seems that place closed down.
Anybinfo would be appreciated!
